If you’re like me, my busy schedule does not allow for leisurely browsing through stores for accessories. I am always thrilled to find great online stores that have unique selections. They have an incredibly large selection of any type of hair accessory or head covering you can imagine. Their site is easy to navigate, with various categories for browsing. You can view by Children, Baby, or Women, or you can view by Hair Accessories, Head Coverings, or Headbands and More.
Since I have short hair, I typically do not wear hair accessories, but my 4 ½ year-old daughter has long hair and always has to have some type of accessory in her hair! Being the typical girly-girl that she is, she loves anything with flowers, glitter, ribbons, bows, you name it. So when we were given the opportunity to review a couple of products from Coveryourhair.com, my daughter was in heaven. After an initial browsing through the site, we had over 30 items in our cart! We somehow were able to narrow it down to two items for review.
The products arrived quickly and my daughter was eager to try them on. The first one she tried was the Kitty Diamond Stones Hair Pin. It basically has a barrette fastener on the back, and looked gorgeous in her hair. The only drawback is that she has very fine hair, so the pin tended to slide around on her hair. The best positioning for her was in the back of her head, just above her ponytail. This pin would add a little bit of bling to any girls’ hair.
The second one she tried was the Pink Elegant Flower Pony Holder. I was very impressed by this item, as it came with three different options for attaching it. Adhered to the back of the beautiful pink flower was a regular pink pony tail holder, an alligator clip, and a pin fastener. The first time I put this item in her hair, I used the pony tail holder and additionally attached the alligator clip to her hair as additional security so it wouldn’t fall out. Unfortunately on this first wearing, the glue that held the holders/clips on the back of the flower came unglued and it fell apart. It was a little disappointing, but nothing a little hot glue gun can’t fix. The second time we tried this pink flower item, I just clipped it to the back of her hair while her hair was down. This day she happened to be playing dress-up ballerina, so the pretty pink flower added a glamorous touch to her ensemble.
I will order from Coveryourhair.com again, and would recommend its products to anyone who enjoys purchasing and wearing unique hair accessories. For these chilly winter months, they also sell various pretty winter hats and scarves. They also sell Israeli tichels and bandanas, as well as offering instructions on the website on how to properly tie both.
