I recently received a UPF 50+ UV protected Fun in the Sun hat from Flap Happy. This hat will be good for this coming summer as we spend a lot of time in the sun. My in-laws have a lake home and we spend almost every weekend at their place. My children love to spend as much time as possible outdoors, especially in the water. I always attempt to keep them covered with sunscreen, but a hat like Flap Happy provides an added degree of protection.
The color I received was a pink hat with a white inner brim. It is a really cute hat, but I wish the inside wasn’t white as that will get dirty easily. However it appears this will probably not be a problem as the hat is easily cleaned. Made with nylon spandex the hat can easily be thrown into the washer and dryer without worrying about ruining the brim. It is always nice to own products that do not require special cleaning.
The fit of the hat was true to size. I was sent an extra large which is the size for 2 year olds. This would be perfect for my daughter as she will be two in February, except she has a small head. So this hat is a little big at this time, but luckily she will grow into it. I think she looks pretty cute!
I am now looking forward to summer, but can anyone blame me? Only month and months left til then:)
