It is my belief that men don’t have strong opinions about their underwear. Of course, this is a generalization and there will always be a few who are the exception to the rule. But for the most part, guys just don’t care.
To quote Molly from the popular TV show Mike & Molly as she is talking to her fiance- “you wear your underwear until they look like vertical blinds“.
That might be a bit extreme, but you get the idea. Men can be oblivious at times.
My own husband’s underwear drawer was not riddled with hole-filled skivvies. Instead it looks like an overstuffed 10 year old boys underwear drawer. I take the blame as well, but at some point during our marriage we purchased several pairs of cartoon/Super Hero inspired boxers.
I think the appropriate term for my husband’s underwear drawer is a “hot mess”.
Clearly my husband’s underwear is in need of a sexy adult style upgrade. The character driven boxers were cute at one time, but I now have three little boys with the exact same style of underwear. It is time to separate the men from the boys:)
When I told my husband his underwear drawer was in need of an update and reorganization, he said in typical guy fashion, “meh”. At least I didn’t have worry about resistance:)
Next, I visited my local Kmart store to check out the new Mario Lopez MaLo underwear. My generation can fondly remember Mario Lopez as “Slater” from Saved by the Bell. I used to love that show and watched it religiously every Saturday morning:)
Clearly, this is the sort of undies I need to purchase for my husband. Check out my entire shopping trip via Google +.
The MaLo line consists of boxer briefs. Back in the dark ages when we purchase the Super Hero inspired boxers for my husband , I am not even sure that boxer briefs existed. Yes, its been that long since I’ve purchased new drawers for my hubby. It is time to join the current decade in men’s fashion:)
Obviously these undies are not Super Hero based. This is exactly the sort of update that is needed in my house!
I was a little worried my husband would not like the boxer brief aspect, as he is used to wearing boxers. But after trying them on and wearing them throughout the day, my husband LIKED them! Success! These briefs are a bit shorter than many boxer briefs and I think that is what he likes about them. They don’t constrict his entire legs. They take care of the necessary areas only:)
It officially time to get rid of these oldies! Woo hoo!
After placing a large number of boxers in the trash and providing a little organization, my husband’s underwear drawer is now neat and stylish!
If you are interested in updating your guys underwear drawer check out Mario Lopez’s MaLo line.

I got to get my husband some of these. They look nice.
Michael’s sock drawer is so crowded right now! I keep trying to throw away the socks with holes but he won’t let go of them. He let me update his underwear drawer so it must be a one step at a time thing.
