No Bake (Super Easy) Noodle Clusters

Will you join me for my Holiday baking?

Oops.

Except in this first recipe there is no baking.

No bake holiday treat- Noodle Clusters

I grew up with these yummy yummies.

I love them.

They are soooooo easy.

Whip up a batch and send them off to someone you know.  They’ll thank you.

Here is how you do it.

These are your ingredients- Three simple items!

I love chocolate, but I love butterscotch even more with this recipe.  However, feel free to use chocolate chips if you prefer.

Melt the package of butterscotch chips or chocolate chips in the microwave.

It will probably take about 4-5 minutes total depending upon your microwave.

Make sure to break up the amount of time the chips are in the microwave and give them a good swirl with a spoon.

I’m so glad I can show you this picture, because my microwave happens to be clean at the moment!  Score!

After the chips are nice and smooth you are ready to add the other ingredients.

3 1/2 cups Chow Mein noodles

Throw them into the pot!

Next is 1 1/2 cups peanuts

Throw them into your bowl as well.

Now comes the hard part.  Just kidding, remember this is soooo easy!

Just mix it up.  Make sure the chow mein noodles and peanuts get covered in the butterscotch love.

When it is well mixed it will look like this.

Spoon the clusters on to wax paper to set.

After about an hour they will be ready!

I recommend packaging them in a nice tin and sending them off to your neighbor.  Or better yet just keep them for yourself and make another batch for the neighbors!

See you soon for Part II- perhaps I will really bake next time.

  1. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I will definitely try that! My son will love making these as it could feel a bit messy and it is quick and he can do most of it 🙂

  2. Those cookie-noodle things look like something I could actually make! And only three ingredients? I might have to try those soon.

  3. I use to make these as a teen. Now, I’m adding them to my holiday baking (or non-baking) list.
