Easy Desserts with Lucky Leaf & a Recipe Book Giveaway

It’s a crazy time of year.  I remember as a kid the Christmas season seemed to go by so slowly.  Time is time.  I’m sure of it.  Yet, as an adult the Christmas season disappears in the blink of an eye.   There is just so much to do.  Christmas cards, decorating, baking, present wrapping, …..the list goes on and on.

Cooking supper has taken lower position on my “to do” list.   Frankly I’m just desperate to make something simple and quick.  Dessert?  Forget it!

That is until I received the Lucky Leaf Bake Your Heart Out recipe book.  Inside I found a recipe for Sweet Apple Crispers.  They were so easy and delicious!  This is definitely a recipe to keep on hand to whip up in a jiffy.

Basically I only needed two items on hand (Lucky Leaf apple pie filling & tortillas).  The rest of the ingredients are items that I usually have in my cupboard.

If you have ten minutes, you can make these treats.

Fill the tortillas with pie filling (you can use your choice)

Heat some vegetable oil in a pan and toss the pie filled tortillas in! Notice that I used toothpicks to hold them together.

Cook them until they lightly brown on each side.

Place some melted butter on top and sprinkle some cinnamon/sugar.  Eat them warm!  Delicious!

Kid & adult approved!
