Fall is here at last! I love autumn. The cool crisp air, the beautiful warm colors, I love it all. Everything seems possible with the beginning of fall. I know people feel that way about the beginning of the year, but for me it is always with the start of autumn. I guess I associate this feeling with school. After so many years attending school and then teaching school it shouldn’t be such a surprise.
One of my favorite things to enjoy in fall is soup. Warm, delicious fill-you-up kind of soup. I have posted one that is easy and quick.
I’ll leave you with this quote.
As the days grow short, some faces grow long. But not mine. Every autumn, when the wind turns cold and darkness comes early, I am suddenly happy. It’s time to make soup again. -Leslie Newman
