It used to be that I considered myself a mama to two bright, energetic, and rambunctious boys and also the mama to one handsome baby.
But my baby isn’t exactly my baby anymore. Just the other day he requested “Lady Madonna” by the Beatles while we drove in the car. My littlest guy has become independent and vivacious just like his brothers. His level of independence has soared over the last few months, as it should for any three year old. To me it feels as though he has gone from wearing diapers to wanting to take care of himself in the bathroom overnight.
Let’s be realistic~ three year old’s in the bathroom are not clean or tidy.
It can be cute at it’s best.
Horrifying and disgusting at it’s worst.
You just never know what you’re going to find when you here those words, “Mama, come here! Help!”.
Lately, he wants to take care of himself entirely in the bathroom. While I’m all for promoting independence, I’m also a fan of cleanliness:) My little guy likes to follow a process and developing a clean routine seems like the best plan to contain this budding self-sufficiency.
During my recent shopping haul at my local Super Target store, I picked up one of these handy dandy FREE little upright dispensers from Cottonelle. A simple purchase of two 18-packs of Cottonelle toilet paper were the necessary requirements to receive the dispenser for free.
Our new Cottonelle cleansing cloths make cleaning anything easier. Because truly it isn’t just his little fanny that needs cleaning within a given day. It’s all those parts that get dirty on little boys such as his face and feet. Oh really, it’s practically every square inch of that boy within a normal summer day!:)
You are probably starting to figure out that my new Cottonelle Cleaning Clothes container is starting to follow me everywhere within our home. I think I need to make another trip to Target to receive another free dispenser while I can. Using traditional Cottonelle toilet paper is a need that my family will always have:) I might as well stock-up so I can have a dispenser in the bathroom for my little guy to take care of himself much more easily and one for me to have on hand for all those other little times something needs a little extra clean.
