Nature’s Hand- Authentic Granola Review

How do you like your yogurt?  Thick or thin?  With fruit or without?  Smooth or crunchy?  The choices are limitless these days.  I have always preferred a little texture in my yogurt.  I have been known to purchase a great thick Greek style yogurt and add wheat germ over the top.  Yep, wheat germ.  It’s really good, honest!

What is also wonderful sprinkled over yogurt is granola.  Good granola.  Flavorful chunks that have tasty nuts such as almonds or pecans are the best in my opinion.  I recently discovered Nature’s Hand and it is yummy!

I had the opportunity to try Maple Pecan and French Vanilla Almond, but there are a variety of other options including: Original Vanilla Almond, Cranberry Delight, Raisin Hazelnut, Cinnamon Apple, Wild Blueberry, and Coconut Almond.

Crunchy oats, wheat, sunflower seeds and tasty pecans combined with maple syrup and natural flavors.  Contains only 140 calories per serving, 4.5 grams of fat, 0.5 grams of saturated fats, 0 mg of cholesterol, 0 mg of sodium, and only 6 grams of sugar.

This granola was my favorite.  With chunks of pecans included you can’t go wrong.  I like to eat my granola with yogurt, but my kids loved eating this granola as a snack.

All granola varieties are 100% all natural and contain-

  • no artificial colors or flavors
  • no preservatives
  • no sodium
  • no Trans Fats

It is always great to have another healthy snack option available for my kiddos.

Crunchy oats, wheat, almonds and sunflower seeds with natural flavors and delicious french vanilla flavoring.  Contains only 140 calories per serving, 4.5 grams of fat, 0.5 grams of saturated fats, 0 mg cholesterol, 0 mg of sodium, and only 6 grams of sugar.

Both types of granola that I sampled were crunchy without being too rock hard.  They had just the right amount of crispiness.  French Vanilla Almond contains slices of almonds, love it! This granola is versatile enough to be used on yogurt, eaten plain as a snack, or can even be used as a breakfast item with milk.  If baking or cooking is your thing Nature’s Hand also has a wide variety of recipes available online.

As I write this review I am having hard time.  Why?  I have an open bag of the French Vanilla Almond right in front of me and I keep reaching in for more.  I do not recommend eating granola while trying to type on the computer, but that’s just me.

Nature’s Hand is currently offering a 25% discount on all cases purchased online through December 1, 2011. Use coupon code NH1 at check-out.
