Treat the One You Love with Baby Cherry Pies & a Lucky Leaf Giveaway

Love is in the air.  It’s that time of year again when our thoughts turn to romance and affection.  It’s been said, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.  Of course a deep committed relationship takes more than good food, but it sure doesn’t hurt!:)  I had the opportunity to create these yummy and cute Baby Cherry Pies via Lucky Leaf.  Of course, I wasn’t going to just serve these tasty morsels to just my main guy, but my three little ones were sure to enjoy this treat as well.  And as always, my trusty little baker man was there to help!

Using refrigerated pie crust for convenience, the most time consuming portion of this recipe was creating the semi-lattice work on the pie tops. Of course, a faster alternative would be to just create a round pie crust top instead.  The original recipe for these pies used blueberries, though it would be quite easy to use the preferred Lucky Leaf fruit of your preference.  My husband’s favorite pie filling is cherry, hence Baby Cherry Pies:)

These little cherry pies take on a special meaning for me, as I know exactly what it takes to create a seemingly simple can of Lucky Leaf Cherry Pie Filling.  I love knowing I’m giving my family such a thoroughly high quality product.
