Would You Rather Give Up Facebook or Go On a Diet?

Dieting is not fun.  It’s hard work.  And it’s never ending.  Most things in life have an end point.  But the desire to lose weight or potentially maintain your weight can last a lifetime.  Many people believe that dieting means eating only tasteless, raw foods.  No flavor.  No enjoyment.  But of course, that certainly isn’t the case.

Dieting is so dreaded in fact, that 36 percent of U.S. adults would rather give up social media, TV and/or their cell phone for one month than go on a diet!  I know how much we all love Facebook, so that percent is quite telling:)

There is no need to forgo technology for the sake of a diet!

Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse have reduced calorie dish currently available.  Eating well, never tasted so good:)

Take for instance this Flo’s Filet from LongHorn Steakhouse featured below.  Doesn’t it look so delicious.   You can order this complete steakhouse meal with entrée, side and salad for under 500 calories!

Olive Garden “Lighter Italian Fare” Menu: Features five flavorful entrées under 575 calories, such as new Lasagna Primavera with Grilled Chicken, Herb-Grilled Salmon and Linguine alla Marinara.

While I don’t have a LongHorn Steakhouse near me, my local Olive Garden is a great way to enjoy a meal out without the guilt of a calorie laden meal.  Woo hoo!

Let your New Year New You mission proceed!:)
