ArtKive- The Easy Way to Save & Organize Your Children’s Artwork!

I have a guilty confession to make.  I throw away most of my children’s artwork.   If I’m particularly efficient I throw it away at their school when I pick them up.  One quick glance and then into the garbage it goes.  Of course, I strive not to get caught.  But I’m sorry to say there have been some ugly moments.  My eldest son has asked on a few occasions, “Mom, where is my such and such creation I made”?  Then I take a deep gulp and say, “I’m sure it’s around here somewhere…”.  Yeah, not my best moment.

But what’s a mom to do with all these creations?!  I have three children.  That’s a lot of artwork.  My youngest is only three- therefore the amount of paper that I receive is only going to increase.  I don’t want to necessarily throw them away, but I’m at a real loss as to what to do with them.  I have a small pile of those that I felt were the best, but most just end up in the trash.

Thanks goodness for technology!  Now there is an easy way to store my children’s artwork without all the clutter and chaos.  ArtKive is an app that digitally saves your children’s artwork and makes it easy to share with others and even have products and photo books created from their art!  To use ArtKive- simply take a photo, properly tag, and store each of children’s artwork.  I know my boys would love to be able to look at their work and this app makes it so easy.   No clutter, no messy art projects all around the house.  A simple to use digital app that allows everyone (grandparents, aunt/uncle, cousins) to view your children’s creations within seconds.  How awesome is that!

Check out this hilarious video from the company.  It pokes fun at the very situation I have found myself in as a mom- i.e. my sons discovering me in the process of throwing away his work!

Visit iTunes to download the app for your devices and start collecting immediately!  Visit ArtKive.com for all the details and also connect via Facebook for additional up-to-date information!

  1. Oh this is a great idea. My kid’s make 40 million (slight exaggeration) pictures each week. Can’t keep them all!

  2. I love this!! I really wish it was for Android too though.

  3. Love this idea! We are a crafty family so there is a LOT of artwork here.

  4. This is so neat! I never know what to do with everything my kids bring home. I hate to throw it away and am glad to hear with this app I won’t have to. I’m definitely going to be looking into this!

  5. While I don’t pitch ever piece I do throw some out as I am running out of space. This app looks awesome. I am going to have to check it out. I started last year taking pictures of them to make an album.

  6. Ah, I’ve been guilty and I’ve been caught. I do keep some of my son’s work, but I think this would be very helpful.

  7. I think this is a great idea. I do hate to throw out artwork, but I also hate all the clutter!
