Big Fish Games- Online Games for the Entire Family & a Giveaway

Video games are not my area of expertise, though I did have mad skills at Tetris and DX ball back in college:)  These days my life is consumed with housework and caring for my three little guys.  I don’t have time for video games.  Okay, that is completely not true.  The real reason I don’t typically play is because the urge to excel is great.  I don’t just want to play, I want to dominate.  I suspect I am not alone in this characteristic.

Two of my three boys have already discovered video games.  And I expect as they get older they will branch out into different forms of online gaming.  I recently had the opportunity to check out Big Fish Games.  This company was unbeknownst to me, but with over 172,000 Facebook “likes” clearly I have been missing something.   The multitude of games available is amazing.  And the best part is that you can play any game for FREE for an hour to try it out!  I love this feature.  I would be hesitant to purchase a game without first giving it a try.   The hour of free playtime allows me to see if a particular game is worthwhile for my oldest son.

With thousands of games fit for both children and adults, including puzzles, brain teasers, educational, and family games everyone is sure to find their game of choice.   I know my husband would love the Arcade & Action Games.  I recently started playing the popular game Plants vs. Zombies.

My goal?  To stop invading Zombies, of course!  Zombies are very popular in my house and are a phenomena within themselves.  I was curious to see how gross these zombies would be.  Luckily, as you can see they are quite silly.  Once defeated their heads do fall off, but I guess that is what you would expect from a zombie! No blood, no guts, nothing too gory.

It took me approximately five minutes to create an account and download the game.  I was planting plants to defeat the zombies in no time.  Here is the official description.

Zombies are invading your home and are after your brains! Thankfully, you have your arsenal of plants to defend you in Plants vs. Zombies! Armed with a garden full of peashooters, melon-paults, and cherry bombs, you`ll need to think fast, and plant faster, to stop the different types of zombies dead in their tracks. Obstacles like a setting sun, creeping fog, and a swimming pool add to the challenge and make sure the fun never dies in this addicting Action/Arcade game!

  • Hilarious characters
  • Unlockable challenge modes
  • Protect your brains!

If your children enjoy computer and iPhone/iPad games, check out Big Fish Games to see the wide selection of games available.   And don’t forget you can play for FREE up to an hour to test it out!!
