BRATZ® ON THE MIC™ Doll Pack Review & Giveaway

I must admit this is my first experience with Bratz dolls.  I had previously steered clear of them.  Why?  Because of the name.  When they first came out my generation (well at least my friends) thought the doll was poorly named.  Why would anyone want their little girl to be a brat?

Because of this preconceived notion based upon the name, I never truly looked at the dolls.  Ouch.  I never realized until now how opinionated I was about the dolls.

As I took a look at the new Bratz on the Mic Doll Pack I was pleasantly surprised.  I’m not sure what I was expecting- maybe something trashy?  But I found nothing of the sort.  Frankly I can’t really see any profound difference between the Bratz doll and that other well known girl doll:)  My observation is that a Bratz doll has a larger head.  I believe they are supposed to be hipper than the alternative, but I don’t know that, that is true.

The Bratz doll that comes in this pack is fun, adjustable, and definitely something I would have wanted as a little girl.  With long multi-colored hair and large makeup filled eyes she is everything that little girls love.  It is fun to play dress up ,and this Bratz doll is a toy dress up doll. She also comes with a little microphone so she can be positioned to look like she is singing. Check her out!

While most little girls will enjoy the Bratz doll, there is also a microphone included in this set.  This part of the pack includes two pieces.  The microphone and the speaker.

The microphone needs to be connected to the speaker for the music and amplification to happen.  There are two different non-lyrical songs to select or one can simply be amplified without any additional music.  I used the word, amplified, but this isn’t dangerously loud.  In my opinion the strength of the sound is just right.  It makes kids feel like their voice is being projected, but it isn’t annoyingly loud or dangerously loud for their little ears.

I was impressed with the quality of this little system.  It plays quite well and my youngest child loves it.  At almost two years old he is able to hold both parts and dance to the music.  He loves the fact that he can turn it on and off himself.  Most little children love music and having the ability to control their own system is very gratifying for them.

Overall I was very impressed with the Bratz on the Mic Doll Pack.  I predict it will be a very popular gift this Christmas season.  I received the Chloe doll for review, but there are four others as well, including a boy option!

Bratz dolls are available for purchase at Amazon, Target, Kmart, Toys R Us, and Walmart. (SRP: $24.99)

One lucky Mama Report reader will win a Bratz on the Mic Doll Pack for themselves!

I received that above mentioned product for review purposes, all opinions are my own.
