Cake + Candy bar= Cakedy.
This is a a wonderful combination.
Why didn’t anyone think of this before? It takes a Minnesotan to be this progressive. Okay, I might be a tad biased since I live in Minnesota, but these little bars are delicious. I recently had the opportunity to taste test a couple of bars and they did not last long in my house.
Here are the options currently available.
First I tried the Peanutter. I would like to share a picture of this treat with you, but I ate it. Oh dear. I just took a bite and blacked out. With peanut butter and chocolate you just can’t go wrong. I can honestly say I have never had a dessert like this. It isn’t quite a candy bar and it isn’t quite a piece of cake. Cakedy truly is a unique creation.
Next I tried RedHead and I tried to remember NOT to eat it all before I took a picture. As you can see I almost didn’t get a picture. Whew! Here is my almost all eaten RedHead bar.
This is a bar you just have to try for yourself. There is nothing else available, I know of, that is similar. Come on, try it Minnesota style!
Cakedy’s are available for purchase online for $2.96 for a 3-Pack plus shipping.
