The holiday season is officially here. Never mind the fact that Christmas decorations have been in the stores before Halloween, in my house Christmas has arrived. One of the numerous to-do tasks on my holiday list is to create our annual holiday cards for family and friends. We didn’t have professional pictures taken this year. Or last year. Or the year before that. I would like to have my entire family in a glossy, beautiful photo at some point, but mostly I prefer to use some of my best photos from the year. Of course, the hard part is pinpointing our preferred image from the year. There are so many good memories and funny moments, it is hard to select just one.
I recently visited Minted.com to create a few options for our Christmas card this year. There are some many beautiful choices, the selection is amazing. In approximately 15 minutes I had a multitude of choices for our family to view. The platform at Minted.com is entirely user friendly. Edit text, change a photo to septia or black and white, and essentially manipulate our holiday cards into your preferred format.
Look at some of my options. Yes, this is definitely going to be the hardest part. How can I only choose one!
My creation#4 is actually a petite card which is a bit smaller and cheaper than the standard version. Selecting this size is a great way to save a little money while still sending a beautiful photo card to loved ones.
I can also select a variety of other options for my cards including- signature paper (thick), recycled paper, or pearlescent (adds shimmer). Or I can select folded or flat cards. A designer can create a digital proof for my review or if I’m in a hurry (which I usually am) I can just preview myself and order.
As you can see, I need to make a decision. Yikes! What do you think?
Which one do you like the best?
Which version should I order this Christmas?
