One in six kids in the U.S. may not know where they will get their next meal. It might seem impossible to most Americans that children, right in our own country, are hungry. It doesn’t inherently make sense to me, yet it’s true. And that’s why Scooby-Doo has teamed up with BoxLunch and Feeding America to spread awareness and encourage families to help!
In typical Scooby-Doo and Mystery Gang fashion the heart of this movement is encouraging kids to use their detective and creative skills to find ways to help this important cause. Kids helping other kids. It’s a simple lesson in helping others for any family.
But to make things even easier there are three main ways anyone can help!
1. For every view of the video below {up to 50K views} Boxlunch will donate a meal to Feeding America!
2. Purchase the Exclusive Flocked Scooby-Doo Pop!
Featured in the center of the pic below, for every Scooby-Doo Pop! purchased 10 meals will be donated to Feeding America!
3. Just Donate!
It’s easy, it’s simple. For every $1 dollar donated, ten meals are sponsored. Donate here!
As part of a special day of Scooby-Doo festivities at the Mall of America there was a special area set up so kids could write letters to Congress!

My family “DOOs GOOD” by donating time with our church’s park clean-up program.
Who doesn’t like Scooby Doo, right?
I love that Boxlunch is donating meals to Feeding America! There is so much poverty in America and I see it every day with the homeless camps all around the town and individuals putting up signs that they “need food”. So many kids go to school hungry and some of the food programs in the schools have now been cut back, affecting those that are in the most need. Great post!
This is a fantastic way to get the “DO GOOD” message out there. We do our part by volunteering at our local shelters and donating items that are needed.
We try to do good by donating food to our local food shelf
My son told me that he had a teacher that would give a handful of kids $2 each day, of his own money to buy lunches in the cafeteria.
We do good by paying it forward.
