The imaginative world of Dr. Seuss comes to life like never before in this visually spectacular adventure from the creators of Despicable Me! Twelve-year-old Ted will do anything to find a real live Truffula Tree in order to impress the girl of his dreams. As he embarks on his journey, Ted discovers the incredible story of the Lorax, a grumpy but charming creature who speaks for the trees. Featuring the voice talents of Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Rob Riggle, Jenny Slate and Betty White, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is filled with hilarious fun for everyone!

One of our favorite family traditions is Family Movie Night. With a new baby in the house, it is not easy to get to the theater, so we missed seeing Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax on the big screen. We were thrilled when it was released on Blu-Ray so that we could watch it in the comfort of our home.

We settled in as a family with much anticipation to see this movie. It is an absolutely delightful story, with awesome computer animation. It pulls you in with very vibrant colors, and I swear sometimes you forget that you are watching animation! Our five-year-old daughter LOVED this movie. She stayed focused during the whole movie and didn’t move from the couch (which is rare!). Not only did she watch the whole movie, but she also stayed put to watch the MANY bonus features that are included. My husband and I enjoyed this movie just as much as our daughter did, and we all had several “laugh-out-loud” moments during the film. Not only is it funny, but it is also very sweet, silly, and thoughtful. It contains several great underlying messages to take with you: to be good stewards of the environment, to take care of the place where you live and those around you, to have the courage to stand up for what you believe in, and to know that anyone can make a difference.

The Blu-Ray Combo Packs also include many bonus feature exclusives:

· Three new Mini Movies (Serenade, Wagon-Ho, and Forces of Nature)

· Making of the Mini Movies

· Deleted Scene

· Seuss to Screen – a fascinating look into the translation of Seuss’ iconic style from book to film

· Seuss it Up! – great tutorial on how to draw the Lorax, a Humming Fish, and a Bar-ba-loot

· “Let it Grow” Sing Along – karaoke-style sing along to the end credit song

· Feature Commentary with Co-Directors Chris Renaud and Kyle Balda

· Once-ler’s Wagon – interactive play featuring the forest creatures and Once-ler’s belongings
