I love it when companies truly help others.  Sometimes it seems as though companies are only interested in making a buck.  But I assure you there is good in this world.  For instance Enterprise Ren-A-Car has pledged to plant one million trees each year for 50 years!

By the end of 2012, 7 Million trees will be planted as part of the enterprise 50 million tree pledge.

Yep, that’s right.  They have already been working for seven year on this project with the Arbor Day Foundation.   This year marks the first year that new trees will be planted in state forests as part of this campaign.  Only 43 more years to go:)  But I love the longevity of this campaign.  In order to maximize benefits a project of this size needs to last for a long time.  Thanks to Enterprise for stepping up to this challenge.

Look for the new Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s “Thanks to America” commercial during the 2012 London Olympics or check it out below. The feature  highlights the company’s50 Million Tree Pledge.

Currently fans of Enterprise can say “thanks” to the people in their lives that have positively impacted them by donating a virtual tree on their Facebook page.

I thanked my friend Angie, for our recent visit.  Nine people invaded their house for a number of days- it’s a good thing we’ve been friends for a long time!:)

It took me approximately one minute to send my thanks to Angie.  Each tree has particular characteristics that can help describe why you want to thank that person.  Notice that I picked the Ash tree.  What a fun way to celebrate the people in our lives!

To celebrate this commitment to our environment and Enterprise Rent-A-Car has kindly offered (4) $15 AMEX G.C. to four lucky Mama Report readers!

Please use the Rafflecopter entry method provided.

U.S. only.  Winners will be verified.
