Luna B. Tee- Personalized T-Shirt Review & Giveaway

I have mentioned before that I enjoy giving original gifts.  Sometimes that can be a difficult task.   With a lack of time and preparation I am not proud to admit that I take the “easy” route at times.  Gift cards and completely generic gifts are nice, but I like the personal touch of a thoughtful, well planned gift.

Personalization is a great way to add a degree of extra charm to a gift, especially for children.  I recently discovered Luna B. Tee and was delighted by the available options.  From iPhone covers, bibs, cutting boards, pillowcases, towels, and of course tees this company stretches the possibility of personalized goods.  But what I particularly enjoyed was style imparted to all these products.  Sure, they were personalized which is cute within itself, but with bright colors and eye pleasing designs I was truly impressed.

Here are some of my favorites.

Personalized iPhone 4/4S Case Black Floral

Personalized Lunch Box- Dinos

I personally received their Define Me to a Tee shirt for my four year old son.  This tee could not have arrived at a better time as my son is currently obsessed with letters, especially his name.  He is in the process of learning all his letters, their sounds, and how to write.  It is so much fun to watch him find the excitement and satisfaction of “knowing” something.

He was delighted with his Define Me to a Tee shirt.  The example shirt looks like this.

Obviously you can change the colors and definitions.  I needed something a little more geared towards boys:)

My son also considers himself a scientist in training and the reference to dinosaurs and sharks produced a large smile from my four year old.

The shirt obviously does not contain this large arrow on it:)  I did a little photo editing as I didn’t want to broadcast my son’s name.  My husband has no problem broadcasting our children’s names on the internet, but I like to keep their identities private, as I feel quite honestly it just isn’t anybody’s business.  As you can see in the pictures above he is quite enamored and pleased with his new tee!

I have washed the shirt twice already and it has survived the washing process unscathed.  And I must say the shirt is made from quality fabric.  This is a thick shirt.  No see through kind of material thank goodness, but instead high quality cotton.

One item of concern I do want to mention that while this shirt is certainly fun and special it might not be the best shirt to wear at every situation.  Obviously having so much personal information available for everyone to see may not be a good idea at all times.  My children are with me at all times, except for a few hours a week they attend preschool, therefore I don’t have any problems with him wearing his shirt.  But some parents might want to consider not wearing a shirt like this in public as anybody would instantly know enough to start a very good conversation with your child.  I’m sorry I have to write this portion, but there are creeps out there.  I love the shirts, but it is always smart to consider your surroundings.

I believe these shirts and variety of products lend themselves well to birthdays.  What a great way to celebrate the uniqueness of your child!

I was actually going to post something about putting children’s names on their clothes. I noticed that I well-known company is also making children’s back packs with their names on them. They are cute but I wouldn’t buy one.
