Minnesota Moms Earn Flexible Pay with Shipt

This post was created in partnership with Shipt, all opinions are my own.

While I currently have a full-time corporate job back when my fellas were babies and cute little toddlers I was a stay-at-home mom. For nine years my dedicated work was taking care of three little boys and managing our household. During that time I especially enjoyed attempting to perfect my cooking skills, reading tons of books to the boys and charting fun adventures for us all. But eventually what I longed for was the ability to contribute financially to the family. But with three boys age 5 and under my employment options were limited. What’s a mom to do? My plotted course was starting this blog {incidentally this is what lead to my corporate career}.

These days there are more options available for moms who want to dip a toe back into the work force. One new way Minnesota moms can earn some extra cash while maintaining a level of flexibility to fit  their schedule is by working with Shipt. Shipt is an on-demand grocery delivery service that utilizes reliable people to shop for groceries and deliver to members. Their tag line is earn money, set your own schedule and feel free to sing in your car on the way to a delivery!

Essentially on the other side of the mom fence now, I truly understand that there is a limited amount of time in any given day. I’m fortunate that I work from home, so luckily a daily commute is not part of my life. That being said I have plenty of virtual meetings and I always feel that I’m “running” from one thing to the next. Grocery delivery is the wave of the future and I’m on board. I especially like the idea of moms helping moms. Of course, Shipter Shoppers could not be moms. I don’t want to make it seem that only moms can apply to become a shopper. But, for sure, the flexibility of the shopping and delivery is a solid option for moms who’s kids are in school and they are looking to earn a bit of extra cash.

Which ever side of the fence you are on, either delivery shopper or receiver, Shipt is a great option for Minnesota moms. And did I mention that Shipt delivers from Target? This could be the ultimate dream. Here in Minnesota, what I like to refer to as the “land of Targets” being able to have deliveries from my favorite store is a definite advantage. Actually I know my local Target store so well, I’m contemplating becoming a Shipt shopper on the weekends! A few extra hours = a few extra bucks in my wallet!

Be sure to visit Shipt online to get all the info on how to become a Shipt shopper and how to become a member so you can start having deliveries at your house {sometimes even within an hour!}.
