My boys are Power Ranger crazed.   I’ll admit, I don’t entirely get it.  I think it has something to do with the different colors, and I know it has something do with all the kung fu action, but my guys thinks Power Rangers are the best.  In our hierarchy of awesomeness Iron Man still rules, but the Power Rangers are a close second.

The Red Ranger has been a big fan at house, only being trumped by the Blue Ranger and the Golden Ranger at times.  Having a movie dedicated to this mysterious Red Ranger was undoubtedly a big hit in my home.  With a playing time of 45 minutes this DVD is the perfect length in order to let me my guys watch the DVD in it’s entirety.  No need to cut short their viewing time with a max time frame of 45 minutes, I don’t have to seem like the bad guy for turning of the TV.

This DVD is full of Power Ranger campiness, as always.  The characters are simple and cheesy, but I think that’s why my boys like them so much.  Clearly the Power Rangers as a whole know how to capture the imagination and attention of five year olds.
My family prefers to watch DVD’s alone in our home.  Case in point- I happened to have the TV on last night to what I thought was a nice TV show.  It was only 7:45 pm and my oldest was still awake.  Suddenly someone has fallen from a building and is dead on the pavement, they even showed blood everywhere.  I quickly turned the channel to a sitcom, which I thought would be safe.  But they were talking about sex and abstinence! Honestly, it wasn’t even eight o’clock!  I realize I’m on a tangent here, but my point is that DVD’s are the only way to go for my family and the Power Rangers is one of our preferred shows.

I received the above mentioned product for review purposes, all opinions are my own.
