I was intrigued by the idea of Purex Crystals. Sometimes it is as simple as pretty crystals in a bottle:) Isn’t presentation everything? While I thought the crystals were pretty it was a whole other matter if they worked. I selected the lavender scent and this was a great choice. I love the smell of lavender. It is supposed to be calm inducing and I can confirm that it is. I washed my flannel sheets my first time with Purex crystals. Unlike other fabric softeners you add it at the beginning of the cycle. Super easy. No waiting. No trying to anticipate to the rinse cycle. Just toss it right in with your detergent.
After my sheets were washed and dried I made my bed and completely forgot about it. Then that night I climbed into bed and as I brought the sheets up around my face I was immediately surrounded by the sweet scent of lavender. What a wonderful surprise. My sheets were clean and warm and smelled heavenly. What a fabulous way to fall asleep.
