The action packed franchise is back…with the next generation of Spy Kids!

Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba) has it all: married to a famous spy-hunting television reporter (Joel McHale), with a new baby and intelligent twin step kids, Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook). When the maniacal Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) disrupts her domestic bliss—threatening to take over the planet—Marissa comes out of retirement as a top secret agent. With Armageddon quickly approaching, Rebecca and Cecil are thrust into action! With a little help from some familiar Spy Kids friends, Carmen (Alexa Vega), Juni (Daryl Sabara), their faithful dog Argonaut (Ricky Gervais) and some mind-blowing gadgets, they just may be able to save the world!

My eldest son discovered the Spy Kids movies via Netflix and instantly became a fan.  He was super excited when I surprised him with the newest release Spy Kids:  All the Time in the World on DVD.  He had seen the preview for this movie some time ago and was waiting with anticipation to see this new story.   The imagined notion of being a spy is fascinating to my boys.  This fantasy world full of high tech gadgets and kung fu moves is most boys dream, mine included.

My four and seven year old loved this movie.  I normally would not have let my four year old watch this movie, but since his older brother was dying to see it I could hardly say no.  Plus of course with all the cool spy action he wanted to see it too!  However I would recommend this movie for the 6-10 age group.

I had the opportunity to take part in a conference call with Jessica Alba earlier this year in regards to this movie and ask her a question.  I feel like I’ve come full circle now with the movie being released on DVD!  She was proud of her roll in this fun film and it is easy to see why.  This is the sort of movie she can even show her young daughter.

I would recommend this movie as a great stocking stuffer this Christmas for school age children.  It will have them perfecting and creating their own spy skills!

Spy Kids: All the Time in the World is available from Amazon for $19.99 and includes four discs!  (Blu-Ray 3D, Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital Copy)

I received the above mentioned product for review purposes all opinions are my own.
