I have professed my love for The Odd Life of Timothy Green on numerous occasions.  If you’ll remember I actually had the opportunity to see the movie before it was out in movie theaters on my Disney trip to NYC.   I was surprised that the movie didn’t perform as well as I would have expected in theaters.  This movie is uplifting, symbolic, and touching- obviously not characteristics that draw in big audiences.  If you haven’t seen this movie- you are missing out.  It’s as simple as that.  And now that the movie is available via DVD and Blu ray it makes it even easier to enjoy this heartwarming film.

Sometimes it seems as though movies are only full of darkness and the ugly side of human existence.  The Odd Life of Timothy Green is the opposite.  Touching, thought-provoking, and lesson inducing this is the sort of movie I can share with the entire family- and is a movie I especially wanted my eight year old son to see.  School can be full of less than nice behavior and I wanted to reenforce the belief my husband and I share, that everyone is unique and should be treated well.

If you are looking for a worthwhile film to see this holiday season as you get snugly with your family, I highly recommend The Odd Life of Timothy Green.
