My 4-½ year-old daughter did not own any Moxie Girlz dolls prior to receiving the Moxie Girlz Moxie Girlz Horse Riding Club Doll Sophina for review. She is just getting to the age where she really enjoys these types of dolls. As a Mom, I was only really familiar with Barbies, as that was what I played with growing up. But after paying more attention in the toy aisles, I have realized that there are other lines of dolls out there that are extremely adorable!

Moxie Girlz is a great line of products, with dolls and accessories tied to many young girls’ interests. The Horse Riding Club dolls, and accessories like horses and stables are stylish and adorable! I think nearly every young girl goes through a horse-loving phase. These would be perfect gifts to give her this holiday season. The Sophina doll that we received comes with a super-cute riding outfit, boots, and hat.

The other positive I have found with the Moxie Girlz line is that the dolls are dressed fashionably while still being somewhat conservative. There are some other doll lines out there that I would rather not have my 4-½ year-old play with, as I feel the clothing is too revealing and does not promote a positive self-image. When buying the Moxie Girlz line, I can be confident that my daughter will see that you can dress trendy and still portray a positive self-image. As the Moxie Girlz website says, “Every girl has the strength to do something amazing. Anything is possible as long as you stay true to yourself and never give up on your dreams!” That is a great message for every young girl. My daughter loved the Sophina doll, and has put the horse and stable on her Santa list this year!
