Last night we arrived safe and sound back to our corner of the world. Boy, does it feel good to be home! We had a wonderful trip seeing some amazing sights and had a great time visiting with family and friends, but nothing beats your own bed and your own surroundings. I’m sure it will feel like we never left in a couple of days, but I’m enjoying my simple pleasures for the moment anyway.
Here are some of the highlights of our trip. Is anybody else taking a road trip this summer? Feel free to comment below!
No trip is complete without a visit to the Giant Prairie Chicken! Rothsay, MN
Serious Transformer time with friends in Fargo, ND
Don’t tell me you haven’t been to Fort Sauerkraut!!? Hebron, ND
North Dakota Badlands near Medora, ND
Pictograph State Park, near Billings, MT
Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Site, Washington
Our ultimate destination- Seattle, WA
Where family greeted us with fresh seafood:) The Crab Pot, Pier 57, Seattle, Washington
And a new little niece/cousin was all smiles:)
I’m SO jealous of your trip to WA where I did so much of my growing up! I even went to school in Snoqualmie! Did you make it to the Falls? Isn’t WA stunning? Wishing I were home.
Washington was stunning, Mimi, but I felt somewhat cheated. Seattle didn’t have a Starbucks on every corner.
What a small world! We did go to the falls, but they are doing some construction around it so it made it a little less scenic. It was my first time to Washington I would love to go back and see the Olympic National Rainforest and the ocean. Next trip, I guess!
