Lake Crescent & Marymere Falls, Olympic National Park, Washington

Lake Crescent could be one of the bluest lakes I’ve ever seen.  It was amazing.  While we didn’t go out on the lake, we did manage to walk out on the dock and even twenty feet from the shore the water was still crystal clear blue.  After having a lovely lunch at the Lake Crescent Lodge, we took off on a nice hike to Marymere Falls.

What gorgeous pics! I envy you, to be able to take your family to explore. I took my kids many, many places. As a matter of fact, one year we explored all the way from Ma. to Florida. The kids were old enough that I could get them a journal to record whatever they wanted. I was blessed to take one of my nieces with us. My daughter has so many great memories of her trips. Now I have a super granddaughter who has never been on any vacation, (long story) and I pray that I will be able to take her on her first!

    Thanks for sharing your adventures.

  2. Beautiful photos! Looks like a great hike!

  3. I hope someday my boyfriend has a different job where he doesn’t work every single day. I love seeing families that are about to get out and explore, that’s so great for your little ones. Til I can take my family on adventures I will just admire your trips and photos! I love the blueness in the lake as well, breathtaking.
