This post has been created as part of my partnership with Popsicle, all opinions are my own.
Boys are busy. When my little guys are at home there is a constant stream of movement and activity. It’s harnessing that energy into a forward moving, positive momentum that is my task. How do I attempt to do that? With plenty of summer activities, of course!
There is no epic summer vacation this year (because of our recent move), instead we are having what I refer to as “junior adventures”. Luckily we now live in an area that has a plethora of new sights to see and activities to pursue. Creating memories is so much fun!
The Japanese Garden- Normandale Community College
Scott County Fair
Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
Minnesota Zoo Carousel
We even have some moments that are respective of our current times.
How do you kill time while waiting for the 4th of July fireworks? Take a selfie, of course!
Visit the MN Zoo for the ultimate photobomb experience with a grizzly bear!
Take a photo being “attacked”by a giant insect. Clearly we are all expert actors…..
Regardless of the time period some experiences are always good, such as-
Visits from family.
Playing on the playground with a Popsicle stained shirt.
Sparklers in the backyard.
Checking out new birthday presents.
If your mom takes you antique shopping make sure you have her take a picture of you looking like a king!
Savoring a Popsicle during the heat filled days.
Check out the Rules for Being a Kid Guidebook and be inspired to capture a few more summer memories!
