Create A Summer Veggie Moment with Country Crock & a Giveaway

The summer days are quickly slipping away, giving way to the beginning of fall.  All those seeds that were diligently planted in the spring have now blossomed into an abundance of veggies.  It was an awfully dry, hot couple of months, but I’m pleased to report that I will still have a few yummy vegetables to collect.

But even if you don’t have a garden, or (like me) didn’t water your garden nearly enough to produce a bumper crop, there are veggies stands everywhere you turn this time of year.   Well, at least where I live.  I reside in the midst of Cornville, USA.  Literally miles and miles of corn abound this time of year in Minnesota.

Fresh corn-on-the-cob is one of summer’s delicious treats.  And preparing corn with family and friends creates memories.

What is your favorite summer veggie moment?  I speculate most people have a fond memory that includes corn, carrots, green beans, or an assorted number of others vegetables.

With 70% less saturated fat and 30% fewer calories than butter, adding Country Crock to your veggie dishes is a perfect way to keep your meal healthy, delicious, and loved by the entire family!

Visit the Crock Country Chronicle for some inspiration regarding your summer veggie moments.

Country crock has kindly offered one lucky Mama Report reader a Summer Veggie Appreciation basket that includes-

·         A basket perfect for toting summer veggies

·         Cooking tools to help you prepare and cook your summer veggies

·         A copy of A Very Veggie World by Clare Crespo—a unique recipe book full of fun and whimsical inspiration

·         And, so you can top your veggies, a coupon for a free tub of Country Crock

Please use the Rafflecopter entry method provided.

U.S. only.  Winner will be verified.
