Emerald Breakfast on the Go! is not a new product in my household. I previously reviewed their original version and I was eager to try their newest creation- Oatmeal Nut Blends. I love oatmeal based products, so I was fairly sure this product would be a hit.
As I have previously mentioned sometimes I am rushed in the morning. When my youngest son’s have preschool, it can take most of my time and energy in the morning to get them out the door. Currently my four year old has no sense of time. And frankly if he feels as though I’m in a hurry it will make him act sillier and slower. I can’t wait until he outgrows this phase:)
Therefore some mornings I eat my breakfast on the go in the car driving them to school. Pouches like these Oatmeal Nut Blends make it easy to drive and eat. I don’t want to cause an accident, but a girls got to eat!
These little pouches make for a great snack as well. I test tasted the sample on my two and four year old.
My four year old had Blueberries & Creme with almonds, oatmeal clusters, raisins, and yogurt covered blueberries.
My two year old had Apple & Cinnamon with oatmeal clusters, dried apples, raisins, and cinnamon spiced nuts.
And I had Maple & Brown Sugar with plain almonds, brown sugar glazed almonds, oatmeal clusters, and raisins.
My four year old and I loved ours. He was particularly happy with the yogurt bites. My two year old picked at it a bit, but he tends to be finicky.
Whether for breakfast or as a snack we like these Oatmeal Nut Blends.

I try and grab a piece of fruit and some sort of bar (fiber one or something)…..doesn’t always happen.
For a quick to grab breakfast on the go, I usually grab a granola bar, a cheese stick, and a piece of fruit.

I Love Granola Bars! I will grab a couple of those (varying brands and flavors) and of course, gotta have my Coffee! I just tried these Emerald Breakfast on the Go, and I LOVE them! They are definitely a new favorite snack on the go and I love all the quality ingredients in them! Super healthy and satisfying! I would LOVE to Win this! I’m trying to get my husband hooked on them too, so he can have a healthier start to his busy day on Patrol!

Breakfast is usually a continental breakfast – coffee and a couple of cookies. I would like to comment about the 4 yr old and slowing down. Our youngest never outgrew it until he left home and got a job. Now he is a Dept Manager at a Building Supply Company and is punctual.
By the time I wake up late in the day I have a big lunch, usually fish, broccoli and maybe a baked potato.

I eat Snackwells protein cereal bars in peanut butter. I used to eat the South Beach diet protein cereal bars and they were discontinued..I was upset until I noticed the new Snackwell green box and the picture of the protein bar was identical to the South Beach so I looked at the info and it is the same exact bar rebranded under Snackwells. I was so happy to find something I love…in case anyone out there can use the info I posted. They are in the cereal bar/cereal aisle and the box is bright green w/orange Snackwells.
