And just like that summer is almost complete and fall is on the horizon. The only season that seems to stay for any great length in Minnesota is winter, of course. Here fall means the beginning of school and the start of the impending cool, crisp, colorful time of year. It’s hard not to entirely become captivated by the amazing display of beautiful autumn leaves.
My fellas love the vast array of treats that are available this time of year almost as much as they enjoy the scenery. Any dip into Pinterest will provide you with a plethora of fall-inspired goodies to select from. In that line of inspiration I created this Fall Wafer Almond Bark. The recipe is super easy and is just a slight variation from many popular bark recipes. Instead of crackers on the bottom layer of the bark I used vanilla wafers. As you can image these were an instant boy favorite. I grabbed a variety of different treats to pile on top of the wafers and almond bark, but this is a great recipe to tailor the way that your family prefers.
I simply spread a single line of wafers on top of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
Then melt and spread the almond bark over the wafers.
And then top with your favorite treats! It’s so easy and fun!

- One package of vanilla wafers,
- One package almond bark,
- Toppings: pretzels, Oreos, Reese's pieces
- 1. Spread wafers over parchment paper on cookie sheet.
- 2. Melt almond bark according to package directions and spread over wafers.
- 3. Top almond bark with toppings.
- 4. Place in cool place to harden.

We all love almond bark.
This looks so good and is easy to make!
A have to make soon – thanks!
Thanks Barbara! It was super easy and delicious! An easy kid friendly crowd pleaser :>)
Where do you find wafer sheets?
I didn’t use wafer sheets. I just purchased regular wafers and pieced them together.
