flipflop wine Review- Wine for a Good Cause

flipflop wines: to each, their own

With flipflop wines, we have embraced the movement toward individualistic expression, instead of manufacturing wines into some cookie-cutter style that’s all the rage. Our goal is to craft expressive, well-balanced wines that evoke just what the grapes inside intended, without being over-wrought or over-explained, and that can be enjoyed at any occasion.

With seven different varies, flipflop offers a wine for all tastes.  Try Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Chardonnay, Moscato, Cabernet Sauvingnon, Merlot, or Pinot Noir.

flipflop wines has partner with Soles4Souls to donate a pair of shoes for each bottle of wine sold (up to 100,000).

Many serious health conditions can be absorbed through the feet even through the toughest soles.  The number of barefoot orphaned children, in Sub-Saharan Africa alone, is estimated to be above 20 million.

I received a bottle of Riesling and a bottle of Pinot Grigio to sample.  Unfortunately we prefer red wine in my house, but we tried them nonetheless.  We tried the Pinot Grigio first as it is a bit drier.   We figured we would like this one more since we prefer red wine.   I guess we are impossible to predict, because of course we ended up liking the Riesling the best.  The Riesling is a sweet wine, but it was very smooth.  Sometimes a white wine is way too sweet, but this Riesling was just right.  I would love to try the Merlot or Cabernet Sauvingnon.  The next time I am at the liquor store I am going to purchase a couple of bottles.

The price? At $7 a bottle it is definitely not going to break the bank.  We NEVER purchase expensive wine and this price is just about right.

I am also more inclined to purchase this wine, because I am also helping some one receive the shoes that they need.  Isn’t that wonderful!  By simply purchasing a bottle of wine (something I would do anyway) I can help promote a worthwhile organize like Soles4Souls.

Wine for me,
