In my last post, I featured how to make this yummy Pizza-Styled Grilled Cheese from It is Good to Know. As you can see it turned out magnificently. Could there really be any question as to how yummy this would taste? I think not. But as they say, the proof is in the pudding.
The results?
You might see just a blue-eyed boy with a wide smile in the photo below, but I see a boy with a smile that says “Mom, hurry up! This sandwich is delicious and you are distracting me!”. A mom knows these things.
I made one of these little sandwiches for myself and I can personally attest that they are awesome. It has now been a couple of weeks since I made them and I’ve had requests several times for a repeat. Needless to say, I need to stock up on pizza sauce, cheese, and Country Crock on my next visit to Walmart.
Yes, technically I did stock up on spread my last time in Walmart, but with three growing boys I am always running low on items in no time. My oldest son’s favorite breakfast is toast with Country Crock® and jelly- every morning.
I choose to serve Country Crock® and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® to my family because-
- they contain 0g trans fat per serving
- do not contain hydrogenated oils
- have no cholesterol per serving
- have less saturated fat than butter
- less calories
- they taste great!
What do you use these spreads on that is particularly delicious? I’d love some new ideas! It is Good to Know has a few more recipes I’ll need to tackle this summer including Chicken Sandwiches with Basil Aioli! I’m not entirely sure what that is, but I know it sounds tasty;)
Cooking your favorite recipes using Unilever buttery spreads is a deliciously smart move. With 0g trans fats per serving, less saturated fat and fewer calories than butter, cholesterol-free spreads are a better option.
