I’m not a fan of pre-made meals. Yes, they serve a very useful purpose in those moments when you need supper on the table immediately, but as a whole I much prefer to make my own supper. Just because I prefer to make my own meals doesn’t mean I have a lot of time to cook. My ideal dish is a homemade meal made without tedious work. There are a few useful items I ALWAYS keep in my pantry in order to make supper in a jiffy. I consider canned beans and tomatoes the staple of my cupboards. Diced canned tomatoes are used is a wide variety of dishes, I find it is best to always have some on hand.
I tend to buy in bulk from Costco. This is the way to stock a pantry!
My little guys love eating these S&W Premium beans plain as a snack as well. I love providing them with such a healthy, protein-packed food item!
We are not vegetarians, but I do like to incorporate meatless dishes every once in a while. Sometimes I don’t always have meat defrosted in refrigerator, rather than trying to fuss with frozen meat I can easily open a couple of can of beans supply my family with the protein they need!
