Simon & Schuster is partnering with me for a giveaway!
Summer is here at last! This past school year seemed to fly by, but my crew is definitely ready for summer relaxing. And part of our summer chill is reading, of course! I’m so delighted that my youngest son has finally caught the reading bug and it isn’t unusual for me to find him quietly sitting in a chair reading a book. I consider that a huge parenting victory point considering all of the technology distractions available these days.
What I love about the Keeper of the Lost Cities series is that it is a great fit for boys or girls. Sophie is the main character, love a strong female lead, but her group of friends make the dynamic well-rounded. If your kids love fantasy series like The School of Good and Evil, The Unwanteds, and The Land of Stories then Keeper of the Lost Cities would also be a great fit! The recommended ages are 8 – 12 years old. The books are full of adventure, friendship, and mystery!
Seven books are currently available in the series- Book 1: Keeper of the Lost Cities, Book 2: Exile, Book 3: Everblaze, Book 4: Neverseen, Book 5: Lodestar, Book 6: Nightfall, Book 7: Flashback (also out in paperback, October 8, 2019) with the 8th book coming this fall- Book 8: Legacy (releases November 5, 2019). There are over 1 million books in print worldwide of this NY Times Bestselling series!
