Featuring the first 10 episodes from the show’s premiere season, CatDog: Season 1 – Part 1 follows the adventures of the feline-canine brothers Cat and Dog, conjoinedtwins, who adore and irritate each other like fleas. Long anticipated by fans, CatDog: Season One – Part One has not been available in stores until now. A must have for fans of Nickelodeon, cartoon fanatics and DVD collectors, the two-disc DVD set has a suggested retail price of $19.93.
My family was not previously familiar with CatDog before viewing this DVD. I had an inkling my two older children (ages 4 & 7) would enjoy this show, merely because it includes a dog and cat. Yes, it is as simple as that. My children seems to gravitate towards any characters that are cat or dog based. Perhaps it is their longing for a pet, whatever the case they did indeed enjoy this DVD.
CatDog is pure silliness. Half dog/half cat this creature might leave your children confused, but in a delightful way. My four year old said, “it’s half dog and half cat, where is the tail?”. Logical, it is not, but most kids will enjoy this kind of craziness.
