Classic Feminine Style Abounds with Karina Dresses Review

If something doesn’t fit right, I’m guaranteed not to wear it.  I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.   The shirt that rids a little too high or the pants that make your butt look big.  We have all experienced moments like this, at one time or another.

There are so many trends, styles, and clothing brands available- the limits are endless.  But not all pieces of clothing are created equal.  Sure, clothing can be relatively cheap, but usually the look that is created is equally cheap.  I’ve purchased my fair share of discounted clothing, only to donate them to Goodwill at the end of the season.   They either shrunk or just never looked quite right to begin with.

I recently received a dress from Brooklyn based company, Karina.  Upon opening the package, I was immediately worried that the dress wouldn’t fit.  Actually, I was positive it was too small.  In a panic I immediately ran to the bathroom to try it on.  I easily slipped the gorgeous looking dress over my head and pulled it into place to face-  perfection.  Yep, it fit perfectly.

The dress, ironically named Alicia, is made from limited edition microfiber.   The material feels silky, smooth and entirely comfortable.  Once I had the dress on I didn’t want to take it off!  And at the risk of overdressing I wore it to my son’s play performance.

I love the one shoulder sleeveless look.  The cut along with the bright floral design make this dress the perfect summer dress.

You’ll have to forgive me for these series of pictures.  I am a North Dakota farm girl.  I have only one fashionista pose.

I just don’t quite know what to do with myself, ya know?

The dress falls exactly at my knees.  It was a little uncanny how perfectly the dress fit.

Thanks to Nana for trying to eek out a Grace Kelly-esque picture with me.  I’m sure we looked ridiculous:)

Karina Dresses are not mass produced pieces of fashion.  Each dress is carefully crafted right in New York and is machine washable.

I anticipate being able to use my dress for quite some time.  Wrinkle resistant I can easily pack it into my suitcase for any of my travels and a light cover will make this dress last until the fall.

Currently Karina Dresses is in the process of converting their stock over to fall.  You’ll definitely want to check out their new styles and snatch up some of their summer styles before there all gone!

I love the 1920’s inspired look of this Ella dress.
