Danny Phantom Season One DVD Review & Giveaway

 Not Seeing Is Believing

And you thought the hassles of everyday high school life were bad! Meet Danny Fenton, a good-natured, ordinary 14-year-old kid with extraordinary powers. The son of two highly eccentric ghost-hunting parents, Danny now has the half-ectoplasmic DNA of a ghost, giving him the ability to fight off the horrible spooks, specters and vengeful ghost-hunters threatening our world! But before Danny can defeat anything, he must first learn to control his newfound powers with the help of his best friends, tech head Tucker and self-proclaimed goth Sam.

My boys love Danny Phantom.  They literally did a little dance of joy when they discovered I received the complete Season One on DVD.  It is a shame this show is no longer around, but that doesn’t stop my boys from enjoying it.  The beginning introduction is very catchy and has a Michael Jackson like quality to it.  Just watching this opening sequence makes you want to watch the show!

Danny Phantom is a boy turned ghost.  My own boys love ghost stories and Danny Phantom adds that degree of mystery, but fortunately without any fear.  Instead Danny is something of a superhero.  He fights the bad ghosts, while keeping his ability to turn into a ghost a secret.  A ghost super hero?  Yep, and my boys love it!

This DVD set (including four discs) is a great gift for any Danny Phantom fan.  My kiddos had never actually seen all the episodes and certainly not in order.  This set is great for long car trips or snowy winter days at home as it has plenty of viewing time.

Danny Phantom Season One is currently available for purchase through the Shout! Factory Store and at stores nationwide.
