flipflop wine Review & flippin Good Deeds Challenge

There are so many different types of wine available these days.  Every time I am shopping at our local liquor store I am overwhelmed with the possibilities.  Where do you begin?  What do you look for?  What do they taste like?  Where are they from?  There are just too many decisions to make!

Why not choose a wine that gives back?  flipflop wine gives a pair of shoes to someone in need for every bottle of wine purchased up to 100,000.  I know many of you need to have your wine!  Why not drink your wine and know that you have helped others at the same time?

Why shoes?
Footwear is a first step in helping people in impoverished areas live healthy, productive lives. Footwear can help eliminate the spreading of diseases through the foot as well as help children obtain an education – as many schools have footwear requirements to attend.
We recently received a bottle of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to taste test.  I had previously tried the Pinot Grigio and the Riesling.  I actually planned on serving the wine at a recent Bridesmaids party I hosted, however most of my guests were not wine drinkers.  Nonetheless I had the bottles available for sampling.  Nana and my husband actually ended up drinking the bottles of wine.  I must admit they were not blown away by the taste.  We are by no means wine taste testing experts, but this wine just didn’t appeal to my family.  They found the wine to be weak tasting, and would have preferred something with more flavor.

You’ll have to try it for yourself! With a large selection of wines, there is sure to be one that tickles your taste buds!

But in the spirit of flipflop wines and their desire to help make this world a better place, why not dig out all those gently worn footwear you own and donate them to someone in need?  It’s easy to do and can help those that need it the most!
