Life As a Mom at The Soap Dish

I’ve always known I wanted to be a stay-at-home-mom.  From the moment I found out I was pregnant with my first son there was no question that I would quit my job to stay home with him.  Those first few months as a new mom were wonderful, absorbing the wonder of new life.  Now two additional children later, being a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) is second nature for me.

Whether my boys are “cutting” my hair…..   (They would use my brushes to imagine they were “cutting” my hair.  It was horribly painful and wonderful at the same time.  But it was worth it when my three year old would say, “you look beautiful!” with a satisfied look, knowing he had accomplish this.)

or providing my cushioned self for comfort…..

I have no regrets that this is the right decision for me.

My new world of blogging as provided a hint of the work life I once had.  And I love being able to take care of my boys, while still connecting with the “outside” world:)

What is the right mix for you?  I have friends who couldn’t imagine staying at home all day and some who split working and staying at home almost evenly.

Join me at Ivory’s The Soap Dish to dish about this topic and many others that are part of “life as a mom”!
