I was excited to try MyPurMist.   The basis of the machine seemed like a great idea.  Rather than randomly using a humidifier in a room, why not specifically treat the person with sinus problems giving them essentially their own personal mini-humidifier.  My family of six has been trading colds all winter long.  Literally, at some point for most of the winter some one in the house has been getting a cold, suffering a cold, or getting over a cold.

Wouldn’t you know, as soon as MyPurMist arrives we are all cold free.  I wait….thinking someone was sure to get sick.   Isn’t that terrible.   Well, we did get sick.  Unfortunately it wasn’t a cold.  Yep, it was the flu.  NO FUN!  Unluckily MyPurMist just wasn’t going to help with the flu.

Even without a cold or sinus problem I tested MyPurMist.  I came to the conclusion that I didn’t need to have a cold to understand how it would work.  I have had enough sinus infections and horrible head colds to tell if this machine is going to help alleviate those problems.

I am not a technical person.  (I know I operate a blog, but it is different.)  When I am working a machine I ALWAYS have my husband figure it out for me.  Lazy?  Yes,  I’m lazy, but these things also come much easier for my husband.  Luckily I didn’t need my husband to figure out MyPurmist for me.  Thank heavens, it comes with EASY to read instructions.  Easy for me being mainly accurate and truly helpful pictures.  It literally took 30 seconds for me to figure the whole thing out.  In no time I had steam coming right out.  Word of advice, take your glasses off.  MyPurMist is not glasses friendly and they will immediately fog up:)  I guess that isn’t so surprising.

My thoughts?  This is brilliant!  Why didn’t some one think of this years ago???  (I find myself thinking that a lot since I started blogging.) MyPurMist is a great way to help those with sinus problems.  I can’t wait for my husband to get a cold (I hope he doesn’t read this) and see how it works on him.  He frequently has sinus pressure and pain with colds and I am fairly confident that this will help.  Sometimes he will just take a shower to help relieve some of the pain and now he can get that same effect without getting wet.

One the the truly brilliant aspects of the machine is that after you are finished using it the fan will run for approximately 10 minutes to dry out the parts.  That is so smart!

Okay, you get the idea.  If you have frequent colds and have sinus problems MyPurMist is probably for you.
