These episodes came out way before my children were around.  In 1997 I was in my high day of college.  I can’t say I was watching Ninja Turtles back then.  But even if I had been younger I probably wouldn’t have watched anyway.  I am a girl after all:)  But I’m sure getting my fill of all things boy now.

My three little guys are instantly drawn to ninjas of any type.  They were somewhat familiar with the series before watching this DVD as they have previously viewed a couple of the movies.  As soon as I pressed play my older boys were immediately shooting, I want to be the red guy, and I want to be the blue guy.  Colored coated heroes are extremely popular in my house.

The Ninja Turtles are hokey, silly, and full of kung fu skills.  My boys love it.  There is “tough” guy stuff, without being too violent or destructive.  Clearly there is gravitation for the male species, as even my husband was drawn in for few episodes.
