NMEDA- Expanding Opportunities for People with Disabilities

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

As a former history teacher, I can't help but to look upon the past and be grateful for the services and options available in today's society.  A hundred years ago someone with a disability would only have had the option of being helped my their own relatives or close friends.  Social services groups were few and far between.  And certainly there was nothing like the non-profit association NMEDA.  Or the Quality Assurance Program (QAP) which makes sure all the dealers are accredited.

NMEDA is a non-profit trade association of mobility equipment dealers, manufacturers, driver rehabilitation specialists and other professionals dedicated to expanding opportunities for people with disabilities to drive or be transported in vehicles modified with mobility equipment. All members work together to improve transportation options of people with disabilities.

People living with disablilites do not always have the degree of freedom and mobility that able bodied people do.  Obviously this can create frustration.  But NMEDA helps those with diablities get on the move!  They can provide modified vehicles for those driving with disabilities or other wheelchair accessible vehicles .  NMEDA has a wide selection of vehicles to suit every need.  Safety is always of the upmost importance and that is why it is important to make sure vehicles are suited for wheelchair access.

Plus you can rest easy, as all NMEDA QAP dealers offer 24 hour local emergency assistance, on-site sales and and support and they offer in-person individual evaluations. If you buy a vehicle online on through a non NMEDA dealer, you probably will not receive the same service.

For those with disabilities visit a NMEDA QAP (Quality Assurance Program) Dealer for mobility solutions!
