My three year old daughter has been in a room across the hall from us, but this room is so small it is actually better suited as an office. Instead my husband and I decided to have our daughter move downstairs. In her new bedroom we have a full-sized bed. This room was previously our 6 year old son’s room so it required a complete makeover. Deciding upon the perfect bedding to style my daughters room required careful consideration. My requirements for the set include: it had to be a full size set; it had to be pink; it had to look like it was not just for a little girl, as I don’t want to replace it too soon; and I was hoping to match a green valance she has in her current room (she likes the sparkly gems that hang on it).
I knew Beyond Bedding offers kids bedding and the bedroom set I chose was the Sweet JoJo Designs Pink and Green Flower set. I was pleased to discover the comforter was a perfect match to our current green valance! I love all the accessories that you can get with this set, so I may have to further investigate the rug, memo board, and wall border in order to finish off the room. My daughter was so excited when she saw the pink bedding that I think we may be moving her downstairs sooner than we planned!
My family isn’t found of bulky bedding so I was happy to see that this comforter was more like a quilt. My family loves quilts! When my grandma was alive we received many quilts, but none of them are very girly or feminine. My daughter will love that she is able to use this bedding to cover up with at night! She gets mad when we are somewhere and we throw the comforter off because it is too heavy for her to use. This quilt-like bedding is the perfect match of being lightweight with a girly touch.
