The practical laundry washing ball
easy to use
- Toss it in your washing machine and leave it there (works with both front and top load washing machines)
- None of the hassles that you have with traditional laundry detergent such as lugging it through the store, cleaning up spilled detergent, etc.
- Easy on your wallet
effective – The Robby Wash ball uses a unique and patented worldwide technology to clean your laundry even better than the powder laundry detergents it was independently tested against. Its activated macromolecules are gradually released through the wash, dissolving dried-in stains by generating ions which activate the water molecules. This increase in the pH enables the activated molecules to penetrate deep into the fabrics and attach themselves to the stains. As the motion of the drum agitates the clothes, the stains come away easily from the fabric and dissolve in the water. Of all the systems on the market, Robby Wash’s effectiveness is tested, proven and guaranteed.
green (see our environment section for more)
- Ultra high efficiency laundry solution – no need to add any laundry detergent
- Hypoallergenic and great choice as a baby laundry detergent cleaner
- Does not pollute the environment like standard laundry detergents
- Easy to refill so you do not need to throw away the ball
- RoHS lead free directive certified
- No phosphates or chlorine
- Safe to use with bleach however we recommend using our included stain stick for stain removal or a salt cleaner as this will not damage the fibers in your laundry like bleach can.
I was excited and skeptical to try a laundry ball. Not a dryer ball, but a laundry ball. The idea behind Robby Wash is that it is used instead of laundry detergent. The plastic ball contains soap pellets that slowly dissolve after many uses. These pellets contain the detergent that actually cleans your clothes. One laundry ball package contains enough pellets to last on average an entire year! By keeping the Robby Wash 75% full of pellets all the time you ensure that your clothes will always be clean. Now that you understand the basics of how Robby Wash works let me tell you about my experience.
Like I stated above I was skeptical that this ball detergent could actually clean my clothes. My first batch came out nice and clean, but I thought it could have been luck. But after a second and third batch of laundry my clothes have all been clean and are not loaded with perfumes or dyes. It works! I’m amazed. The package which includes the Robby laundry ball and pellets cost $32.95. This might seem spendy, but not if you consider that this will last a year. Think of how much detergent you use. I can’t even begin to figure out how many bottles of detergent I go through in a year. The Robby Wash Laundry Ball I used is only good for cold temperature washes. However they do make a Robby Wash for warm washes. I believe the cold (Fuschia) Robby Wash is a much better investment for me as I do probably three times as many cold cycles as warm. The best Robby Ball for you depends upon what type of washing you do.
All in all I am very impressed with my Robby Wash Ball. The pellets are still in good shape after three loads and I have more pellets to add to the ball once it does start to decrease. I’m curious to see if this product catches on in the U.S. as it definitely decreases the amount of detergent used and therefore purchased. From an environmental standpoint alone I hope it is successful in the U.S. Robby Wash Laundry Balls are available for purchase at Oransi.com for $32.95.
