My kids love muffins, especially my oldest son age seven. He would live off of bread entirely if I let him. Breadsticks, bread, muffins, pancakes, waffles, french toast- he loves it all. Someday all those carbs might catch up to him, but for right now he's basking in the benefits of a high metabolism. While muffins are a hit with the kids, I also enjoy serving them for breakfast, because they're easy. I can make them ahead of time when it is convient for me and simple eat them throughout the week. I have been drooling over images of cake pops for some time now. When I first started seeing them on various blogs and in bakeries I thought they looked fun, but not like something I would actually want to make.
